Capital for Counsel is a nonprofit organization based in Dallas, Texas. Our mission is to assist young adults ages 16 – 29 with financial and healthcare needs through helping fund their mental health counseling.
Navigating young adulthood can often feel like a harrowing and confusing task. Finding a therapist to help you cope with the stress and anxiety that come along with the challenges of these developmental and often financially unstable years can be majorly beneficial. Unfortunately, therapy isn’t cheap, and even with insurance, a few sessions of professional counseling can take a big hit to your pockets. This can sometimes deter us from seeking help when we need it most. That’s where we come in. At Capital for Counsel, we provide cash grants covering therapy for young adults in financial need, between the ages of 16 to 29, living in the DFW area. No one deserves to suffer in silence, and we are here to assist you in finding and funding the quality counseling that you deserve.
Those you can apply for grants from Capital for Counsel are young adults ages 16–29 with financial and or healthcare needs and residents of the following Texas counties: Dallas, Ellis, Johnson, Rockwall, Kaufman, Tarrant, Denton, and Collin.
