Spencer Humphreys

President and Founder

Spencer Humphreys is the visionary founder of Capital for Counsel (CFC), driven by a deep passion for mental health advocacy. His commitment to this cause inspired the creation of CFC, aiming to provide vital support and resources to those in need. Spencer is currently pursuing a degree in psychology, with the aspiration of becoming a counselor to further contribute to the mental health field.

In his free time, Spencer enjoys writing, running, and spending quality time with his French bulldog, Billy.

Patrick Johnson

Secretary and Director
Patrick Johnson is a Senior Wealth Advisor at Truist Bank, bringing over thirty years of expertise in the financial services industry. He has a long history of working with different nonprofits in his community including the Rotary of Downtown Roanoke Board of Trustees and the Southwest Virginia Business Development Association.

In his free time, Patrick enjoys spending time with his family, boating, and restoring antique sports cars.

Dave Haskins

Director
Dave Haskins graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services. He has dedicated his career to the non-profit sector, spending 38 years with Young Life. Dave served as the Area Director in Johnson City for 5 years before taking on the role of Area Director in Chattanooga, where he now serves as the Metro Director.

Dave's career has been marked by his passion for mentoring and supporting young people from diverse backgrounds. He has also been instrumental in training and equipping emerging leaders.
